Areas of Interest

Prof. Haenggi’s primary research areas are modeling, analysis, and design of wireless networks, stochastic geometry, and random graphs.

He focuses on:

  • the development of spatial stochastic models for next-generation cellular, vehicular, ad hoc, sensor, cognitive, and device-to-device networks;
  • their analysis using point process theory, spatial statistics, percolation theory, graph theory, and queueing theory;
  • the design of network architectures with high and balanced performance.
