Areas of Interest
Prof. Patrick Fay’s primary research interests focus on:
- design, fabrication, and characterization of microwave, millimeter-wave, and power electronic devices and circuits
- micromachining techniques for the fabrication of microwave components and packaging.
He is a Fellow of the IEEE and serves as an IEEE Electron Devices Society Distinguished Lecturer.
Prof. Fay received the Department of Electrical Engineering’s Outstanding Teaching Award in 2018 and the College of Engineering’s Outstanding Teaching Award in 2015.
